1) Max – Integration Update – Channel: Google
Overview
To further strengthen Google Hotel Ads performance and rate visibility, we have enhanced how the Booking Engine interacts with Google traffic. This update ensures smoother rate discovery and improved bot accessibility, helping properties maintain accurate price display and avoid rate-fetch errors.
What’s Enhanced?
- Guests arriving via Google will now experience an optimized booking flow designed for smooth rate retrieval.
- For properties using the Ngātahi theme, Google traffic will be automatically redirected to Atarangi II, our Google-optimized booking engine theme.
- This ensures that final rates are accessible instantly, improving rate accuracy and reducing potential Google flagging issues.
Impact
Better rate visibility on Google, improved integration stability, and a more reliable booking journey for guests coming from Google channels.
2) Max – New Channel Mapping Flow
We’re rolling out a cleaner, more intuitive channel mapping flow to help you manage mappings faster and with greater clarity.
What’s new?
Filtered Tabs for Faster Navigation
Mappings will now be separated into two dedicated tabs:
- Unmapped – Items that require action
- Mapped – Completed mappings
This makes it easier to focus on what needs attention without scrolling through completed configurations.
Smart Default View
If there are pending mappings, the system will automatically open the “Unmapped” tab, helping you prioritise action instantly.
Grouped Room & Rate Structure
Each room type will now appear as a clear header, with its associated rate plans grouped beneath it. This structured layout makes it easier to understand room-rate relationships at a glance.

3) Mapping Configuration Section – UI Update
a) Enhancement: Cleaner & More Flexible Mapping Setup
We have improved the Mapping Configuration experience to make setup smoother and more intuitive.
What’s new?
- Dedicated Modal Window: Configuration now opens in a focused modal window instead of expanding inline, creating a cleaner workflow.
- Flexible Editing: You can update the Max room type, rate code, and PMS meal ID anytime before submitting the mapping.

Better clarity, fewer setup errors, and a faster mapping process.
b) Units Mapped Details Page – Show All Unmapped Room/Rate Plans on ‘Edit’
We have improved the Edit function within the Units Mapped Details page for a more complete mapping overview.
What’s new?
- When clicking Edit, all unmapped rate plans for the selected room type will now be displayed, similar to the V1 mapping flow.
- You can update rate plan mappings directly from this view.

Greater visibility, quicker adjustments, and a more efficient mapping workflow.
