THE RED AFFAIR RETURNS: A PENFOLDS X FOLLY BRASSERIE BRUNCH

After a sensational debut, The Red Affair is back. folly Brasserie at Address Montgomerie is once again teaming up with iconic Australian wine label Penfolds for the second edition of its bold brunch series – returning on Saturday 13 September with the same dazzling menu, fine wines and vibrant red flair that made the launch unforgettable.

Set amidst the lush greenery of Emirates Hills, The Red Affair blends free-flowing Penfolds pours, indulgent cuisine and folly’s signature sense of fun for an afternoon that’s both sophisticated and playful. Guests can expect another spirited celebration filled with red hues, a buzzing glasshouse atmosphere, and live entertainment featuring a singer and DJ playing classics and crowd pleasers — perfect for foodies, wine lovers and brunch-goers who like to do things a little differently.

From 1PM to 4PM, settle in for a leisurely afternoon of stunning views, lively company, and a curated menu designed to impress. The highlight of the brunch is the Penfolds Cuvée Brut NV pouring champagne which is free-flowing all throughout the brunch experience. The champagne is sourced from highly regarded vineyards across the Champagne region. Made in partnership with Champagne Thiénot, the blend is made up of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Complete and assured, the Cuvée Brut is fresh and forward on the nose, and lively on the palate.

The Red Affair unfolds with a generous spread of sharing starters, from freshly shucked oysters and folly Chips with herb emulsion to Braised Beef Beignet finished with fresh truffle and a rich Beef Tartare with confit egg yolk. Vibrant seasonal salads like Dorset Crab with apple and cucumber and Heirloom Tomato with stracciatella set the tone for the show-stopping mains.

At the centre of the table, guests are treated to a signature duo of Beef Wellington with thyme and red wine jus, and Roast Monkfish in a decadent Champagne caviar butter sauce – served alongside comforting sides like creamy mash, broccolini with parmesan and pine nuts, and sautéed kale with hazelnut pesto. To end, desserts are made for sharing: Baked Chocolate with blood orange sorbet, White Chocolate Pavlova, Olive Oil Ice Cream with sourdough crisp, and a curated cheese trolley.

The experience is priced at AED 450 per person for the alcoholic package, which includes three hours of Penfolds Champagne Cuvee Brut and curated wine pairings featuring Koonunga Hill red and white. A non-alcoholic package is also available for AED 350, offering the same exceptional menu alongside premium non-alcoholic beverages.

The party continues with the Penfolds Happy Hour from 4 to 7PM, with Koonunga Hill Shiraz-Cabernet and Chardonnay available at AED 38 per glass or AED 180 per bottle. folly Brasserie’s own happy hour also runs during this time, serving up cocktails at AED 38, including signature favourites like the Infamous Folly Pop, Fleur de Martini, Fancy Glasshouse and Fountain Highball.
