1) Max: Add-ons – PMS Add-on ID Support

What’s New?

PMS partners can now receive add-on information mapped to their internal IDs, allowing for accurate matching of add-ons within their systems.

The Add-on module is now also accessible at the property level via property settings, improving ease of access.

How It Works?

  • Each add-on in Max must be configured with a PMS Add-on ID
  • Add-ons can be mapped to channel add-on identifiers
  • PMS systems can then match add-ons using their own internal references

Setup Overview

  • Add PMS Add-on ID when creating/editing an add-on

⚠️ Channel Add-on ID must match exactly as configured in the channel (used in booking XML)

Important Notes

  • Enabled by default
  • Requires PMS support for the pms_addon_id XML element
  • Currently, no PMS partners support this yet

Why It Matters?

  • Improved accuracy in add-on mapping
  • Better system-to-system communication
  • Future-ready integration for PMS compatibility

2) Max: PMS Connect – Block PMS Rate Update by Room
Type

What’s New?

You can now block PMS rate updates for specific room types, giving greater control over how rates are managed.

When Is This Useful?

For properties using Matrix pricing, where some room types derive rates from a master room — preventing PMS updates avoids rate
conflicts.

How It Works?

  • Select room types where PMS rate updates should be blocked
  • Ensures derived room types maintain their intended rate structure

Conditions

  • Available only when PMS supports rate updates
  • If blocked at property level, automatically applies to all rooms
  • Not applicable to pseudo rooms

Setup

  • Go to PMS Connect → Settings
  • Enable toggle for selected room types
  • Save changes

1) SwiftBook: Max Days for Advance Purchase – Logic
Update

What’s Changed?

Two key improvements to how Max Advance Purchase works:

  1. Same-Day Booking Logic
  • Now uses 0 = same-day booking (previously 1)
  1. Length of Stay Restriction Removed
  • No longer limits how many nights guests can stay
  • Now only controls how far in advance bookings can be made

Example:

If set to 2 and today is 05 May:

  • Guest can book arrival on 06 May
  • Can stay for any number of nights

UI Update

  • Field changed to dropdown (0–7 + custom option) for faster setup

  • Add description and/or cancellation policy

Why It Matters?

  • Ability to customise messaging and policies for specific campaigns

3) SwiftBook: Smart Pricing – Discount Per Stay

What’s New?

A new discount type: Discount Per Stay

  • Apply a fixed discount amount to the total booking
  • Works regardless of length of stay

How It Works?

  • Discount applied before tax
  • Deducted from first night, then carried forward if needed
  • Applies across nights and rooms until fully used

Setup

  • Navigate to: Booking Engine → High Conversion Tools → Smart Pricing
  • Select Discount Per Stay
  • Enter fixed discount amount

Important Notes
